I am a fisherman based in Oyster Bay Long Island. I don't buy fish since I have my own, fresh everyday. Once you have fresh day boat, nothing else compares. Down East Day Boat is my source for delicacies I cannot get myself, primarily scallops. These are the best scallops you will ever have, period. I order them fresh whenever I can, but the frozen are great too. When fresh seafood is frozen correctly , immediately after harvest, it's 99% close to actual fresh. If you are concerned about the price , don't be. How many times do people pay as much or more in a restaurant, for below quality seafood. Think about "value" not "price." Worth every penny.

I send these kits to my kids for special occasions (anniversaries, etc.) or when a little spirit boost is in order. Always appreciated!

We ordered the lobster roll kit and once again we had a wonderful meal. Sooo much delicious lobster made for perfect sandwiches. We invited some friends and also made scallop rolls using Downeast Day Boat scallops. It was a perfect meal. Thank you so much for getting this great seafood to us here in Wisconsin
