New England’s favorite sandwich, the Maine Lobster Roll, is delivered straight to your door. Our lobster meat contains claw and knuckle meat from lobsters caught off Bremen, Maine, then quickly cooked and, hand picked and frozen at Community Shellfish.

There are many ways to prepare these succulent rolls but keeping things simple highlights the fresh, top quality Maine lobster meat, the thin squishy rolls (you butter and brown the OUTSIDE of the rolls) and the delicious salty butter. One must-do though is to fry the super soft New England split top buns in Kate’s Maine-made sea salted butter (included) so they develop a buttery, crispy crust. Add your own mayonnaise and lettuce and you're done!  Remember: butter and brown the OUTSIDE of the rolls, and put the lobster meat in the soft interior.

NOTE 1: This roll kit includes regular grocery store buns, which we believe make the BEST lobster rolls.  You can get brioche buns or other fancy rolls, but the whole point of a lobster roll is to taste the lobster, not the bun.  The thin squishy New England Bun is an integral part of the lobster roll experience.  So while it's not fancy, it IS perfect.

NOTE 2: We do NOT recommend mixing fresh and frozen items.  We ship frozen seafood with dry ice, which freezes fresh seafood.  If you want both frozen and fresh items, please submit two separate orders, or understand that your frozen seafood will not be shipped with dry ice, which will result in at least partial defrosting.
