Includes:
Roughly one pound of freshly caught and cut flaky white fish from the Gulf of Maine. Likely to be pollock, hake or haddock.
We're bringing flaky white fish back for Seafood Month! This is likely to be hake or pollock, and the amount will be around one pound: if it's something on the less expensive side, it'll be more than a pound; if it's something on the pricier side, it'll be close to an even pound. Although we can't guarantee the species we can assure you it will be a top quality mild, flaky white fish that will be great baked, pan seared or steamed.
Fishermen don't know what they'll be hauling up, and there's no way to guarantee in advance what the best flaky white fish will be, so select this and Togue will choose the freshest, tastiest flaky white fish available at shipment time. By offering a type of fish rather than a specific variety we're able to review everything that comes in and select the very best for you. In the cover photo, you'll see the three fish it's most likely to be: haddock at the top (right), hake in the center, and pollock on the bottom (left). They're all going to be FABULOUS, and super fresh. So go ahead - let Togue choose the very best!
